(Note: All First Fridays take place along Madison Street from Main to Wood Street, and run from 6 to 9 p.m. sharp, weather permitting; watch Discover Lansdale's Facebook page for the latest updates.)
May 2 — Raining Cats and Dogs! Lansdale's First Friday event season kicks off on May 2 with It's Raining Cats & Dogs! Join us for a fun-filled evening featuring local non-profits: Home At Last Dog Rescue, Stray Cat Blues, and Envi Rescue and Animal Sanctuary. This year, Lansdale’s local businesses will be set up in the Lansdale Station Apartments courtyard. Additionally, we’re excited to introduce the Inclusive Family Fun Project sensory station, which will be available at every First Friday from 6-7pm.
June 6 — Garden Party. The second First Friday event of the season, Garden Party, will take place on Friday, June 6. Join us for an evening of fun, featuring local organizations such as Garden of Health and the Lansdale Open Gardens Tour.
Saturday, July 12 — Second Saturday, 11 a.m. The first Friday in July is Independence Day, so First Friday has been moved to "Second Saturday" July 12th, in tandem with Old Time Baseball & BBQ in Memorial Park. Join us for an afternoon of old-time baseball, live music, food, beer garden, kids zone, entertainment, and more! Enjoy old time baseball on Weaver Field with a double-header featuring the Brandywine Baseball Club vs. The Rising Sun Base Ball Club. Lansdale's Cannoneers Youth Football and Cheer will be participating as our highlighted organization.
August 1 — Shellabrate Good Times. August's First Friday event, Shellabrate Good Times, takes place on August 1. Local non-profits Laurel House & Laurel's Loft will be our highlighted organizations. Plus, we're thrilled to introduce the Inclusive Family Fun Project sensory station, available at every First Friday from 6-7pm.
September 5 — The Wizarding World of Garry the Otter. Get ready witches and wizards, September's magical First Friday event, The Wizarding World of Garry the Otter, casts its spell on September 5. The North Penn Valley Boys and Girls Club will be participating as our highlighted organization.
October 3 — Chili Cook-Off. Get ready for the CHILI! The chili cook-off is back this October. Think you have the best chili in the borough and want to compete for ultimate bragging rights? Sign up at www.discoverlansdale.org/opportunities. Or perhaps you'd prefer to sample all the delicious chili entries? Why not do both! Join us! Manna on Main Street will be participating as our highlighted organization.
November 7 — Zombie Walk. Get ready for the return of Zombie Walk this November! It’s spooky, it’s scary, it’s quirky – we can't get enough. Prizes will be awarded for the most convincingly creepy zombies. So, grab your tattered clothes, perfect your zombie shuffle, and join us - no brains required! Lansdale's Code Blue Shelter will be participating as our highlighted organization.
