The big news is Lansdale Borough's 150th birthday; on August 24, 1872, the Borough was officially created. And all this year, Lansdale will stage a celebration for the ages! Below you will find the official events, as well as our regular full slate of happenings. Old-Time Baseball Weekend

COMPLETED! The rain couldn't dampen the spirits at The Lansdale 150 Old Time Baseball weekend, as a panel discussion explored the entwined history of baseball and the borough on Friday, and two antique teams played in turn-of-the-century rules on Saturday. Click for photos! |
Lansdale Day and Strawberry Festival

Lansdale Open Gardens Tour
Saturday, July 9, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., all around Lansdale
COMPLETED! Some of our borough's beautiful public and private gardens were on display during the first Open Gardens Tour, an Anniversary-affiliated community event. Community Day In The Park
Saturday, July 16, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Memorial Park
COMPLETED! A grand community-wide flea market and yard sale with vendors, food, music, old-time games, and much more was a huge success. A gorgeous day, about 50 vending and garage-sale-ing partipants and hundreds of shoppers and visitors. We also dedicate the 150 Gazebo in memory of our own "Mayor Mike" DiNunzio. 'Dealers Through The Decades' Auto Show

COMPLETED. As Lansdale's Founders Day enters its 11th year, we combined our annual birthday celebration with the finale of the Sesquicentennial celebration. All the elements were there, including Lansdale's Arts Festival in Memorial Park, a beer garden, food trucks, kids activities and bands and more — and a special fireworks display wrapping up the 150th! |
