Below you will find a quick roundup at some of this season's top events in Lansdale Borough. Beneath that, you'll find a callout on a few of the events coming up shortly. - Tree Lighting Ceremony, Friday, Dec. 6, Railroad Plaza, Main St., 6 p.m. Lansdale’s Holiday Tree Lighting is here! Celebrate the season with twinkling lights, festive fun, and community spirit.
- The Annual Lansdale Christmas Tree Display, at the former Reporter building, 307 Derstine Ave., opening Dec. 6. Come and vote for your favorite. Details and sign-up information here.
- Tuba Christmas Concert, Sunday, Dec. 8, 1 p.m. Railroad Plaza. Celebrate the season with the joyful sounds of Tuba Christmas! Join us for an unforgettable concert filled with festive melodies and tuba magic.
- Letters to Santa, Railroad Plaza; deadline Dec. 15. Kids and parents can write their letters and lists for Santa and drop them in his mailbox at his house at Railroad Plaza. Borough Elves will collect the letters and send them on the Elf Express (led by Rudolph of course!) to deliver them to Santa at the North Pole. Be sure to have your letters in by December 15 for pick up by the Elf Express. Santa will try his hardest to respond to letters with full names and addresses!
- Santa House, Railroad Plaza. Weather permitting, Santa plans on visiting with children on Friday, Dec.13, 6 to 7 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 20, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 21, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- On Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Lansdale Historical Society will be hosting its annual Holiday Open House at the Jenkins Homestead, 137 Jenkins Ave. Find details at lansdalehistoricalsociety.org.
- Menorah Lighting, Thursday, Dec. 26, 6 p.m., Railroad Plaza. Light up the night at the Menorah Lighting! Join in for an evening of celebration, community, and the beautiful glow of Hanukkah. This all-ages celebration includes performance by the Horns of Hanukkah, doughnuts and hot chocolate, crafts, and more. Info at [email protected].
- Lansdale Restaurant Week. The 2025 installment of this favorite foodie festival will be Feb. 23-March 1. Watch the Discover Lansdale site for details in early 2025!

Christmas Tree Display
The 2024 Lansdale Christmas Tree Display opens Friday, Dec. 6 — the evening of the grand Tree Lighting Ceremony in Railroad Plaza — and continues through the holiday season. This year's display is in the former North Penn Reporter Building, 307 Derstine Ave. We hope that your business, organization, group, friends, and family can join us! Set-Up and Decoration will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 3 and Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Registractions must be received by Sunday, Nov. 17. Lansdale Historical Society Open House
The Lansdale Historical Society will host its annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 to 3 p.m. at the Jenkins Homestead, 137 Jenkins Ave. The theme will be "Winter on the Homestead." Admission is free, as always, and donations are welcomed.

Tuba Christmas
Enjoy the sounds of the season from dozens of talented tuba, sousaphone, and euphonium players in an annual outdoor tradition.

Shop for the freshest produce, meats, baked goods and much more, all direct from area farms and producers. The Lansdale Farmers Market is a multi-year regional award-winner and one of the county's largest.

Menorah Lighting
Help the borough usher in the Hanukkah holidays with the annual menorah lighting ceremony in Railroad Plaza. Refreshments will be available, and music will be provided by the Horns of Hanukkah.
