- First Fridays, monthly, Downtown Lansdale. Family friendly fun with music, amusements and refreshments. May 3, June 7, July 5, Aug. 2, Sept. 6, Oct. 4, and Zombie Walk Nov. 1.
- May 3-May 24. Artist Stephanie Slate’s innovative revival of historic-artistic techniques will be on display at the 365 Foundation Gallery, 305 W. Main Street. Visit www.365.foundation or call (833) 365-3686 for information.
- Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m-2 p.m. The Fairmount Fire Company hosts its Second Annual Spring Craft Show. 301 Vine Street. About 30 local vendors and crafters will have their wares for sale, along with refreshments, raffle and dog toys made from retired fire hoses. Details at fairmountfireco.com/craft-show.
- Saturday, May 4, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Join the Lansdale Garden Club for its first-ever Plant Sale, at Stony Creek Park, 200 E. Hancock St. Vegetable and flower starts, PA natives, houseplants and assorted garden pots and accessories will be available. Details on the Facebook event page.
- Saturdays, May 4 and May 11, noon-5 p.m. Pop-up beer garden at Whites Road Park, featuring brews from Well Crafted Beer Company and food trucks. Check Well Crafted’s FB page for information and weather updates.
- Sunday, May 5, 1-5 p.m. Celebrate the festive day at El Limon Lansdale’s Cinco de Mayo Block Party along Madison Street (closed that day). Enjoy Mexican culture with authentic food, music, and fun, with partners Well Crafted Beer, Boardroom Spirits and Fiesta Churros. Face painting, taco eating contest, piñatas and more. - Saturday, May 11, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Lansdale Farmers Market, one of the area’s biggest and most-honored, opens for the season in the parking lot at Penndale Middle School on Penn Street. The freshest produce, meats, baked goods and much more, all direct from area farms and producers. Saturdays through Dec. 21.
- Saturday, May 11, 7:30 p.m. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra’s 52nd Season concludes with Internationally acclaimed tenor Eric Fennell performing beloved moments from the operas of Puccini, Verdi, Donizetti and more! At Calvary Baptist Church, 1380 S. Valley Forge Road. Ticket information at SPSOrchestra.org.
- Tuesday, May 14, 7 p.m. “We All Scream for Ice Cream” as the Lansdale Historical Society hosts its monthly presentation at Borough Hall. Fond memories of ice cream parlors past, plus a presentation by Ed Albaugh about flavors and ingredients. Samples will be served, so seating will be limited. Get there early! Doors open at 6. Admission is always free, and donations always welcomed.
- Sunday, May 26, noon-6 p.m. Lansdale Punk Rock Flea Market, at Round Guys Brewing, Main and Wood Streets, will be hosted by Headway Art Collective. Live music, more than 30 local artists and craftspeople, bakers and more. Live music by Modern Yesterday and Ukelele Al. Info at the FB event page.
- Monday. May 27, 9 a.m. The annual Memorial Day Parade starts at Cannon Ave., and progresses down Main Street to Memorial Park, where a commemorative ceremony in honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice will be held starting at 10 a.m. Check the American Legion Post 206 Facebook page for details.
- Lansdale Day, Saturday, June 1, Main Street. Annual celebration of arts and crafts, vendors and fun. Organized by Rotary Club of North Penn. rotaryclubofnorthpenn.org

- Lansdale Beer Tasting Festival, Saturday, June 22, Fifth St. Field. Sample the best of the brews from the Borough and beyond.
- Old-Time Baseball/Community Picnic, Saturday, July 27, Memorial Park. Original-rules baseball and family entertainment.
- St. Stanislaus Summer Festival, Aug. 13-17. Carnival rides and games, great food and music, garage sale and much more. Organized by St.Stanislaus Parish. ststanislaus.com
- Founders Day/Festival of the Arts, Saturday, Aug. 24. All-day across-town celebration with an arts show and sale, capped with fireworks.
- Lansdale Cruise Night, Saturday, Sept. 14. Drivers and cars of all ages join an annual parade of internal combustion nostalgia.
- Zer0.5K/Oktoberfest, Sunday, Oct. 6. A weekend of autumnal celebration wraps up with “The Race for the Rest of Us” and an oom-pah filled party.
- Mardi Gras Parade, Saturday, Nov. 23. Lansdale’s iconic (and famously mis-named) holiday kick-off welcomes Santa to town for the season.

We at Discover Lansdale, in cooperation with the Knights 4 Life Foundation, are proud to announce that we are working hard to bring our borough the best brews from all over, as the 2024 Beer Tasting Festival takes shape. VIP tent, lawn games, vendors, music, good friends, great food and even greater libations, are all on the bill of fare.

FRIDAY, MAY 3, ALONG MADISON STREET LANSDALE
2024 First Friday Season
Friday, May 3, kicks off a year full of big ideas and fresh features — starting with First Friday's new focus. All your favorites and more return to a revamped location: along Madison Street and the Madison Parking Lot up to Wood Street, from 6 to 9 p.m.. An expanded vendor area, an improved Kids Zone, and a super-sized beer garden with food vendors and live music are featured.
New this season: The Discover Lansdale Passport Program will award a grand prize basket worth more than $200 at First Fridays starting in June. Just pick up a passport then shop, dine and play at participating businesses all season long. Complete your passport and turn it in at the FF DL table to win! The season’s themes start with Geeking Out/Comic Books, in partnership with Main Street’s Comic Zen comic shop and Retroware/Classic Game Junkie. This Friday's band: AM Radio performing live on stage. |
TUESDAY, MAY 14, 7 P.M., LANSDALE BOROUGH HALL
Lansdale Historical Society ProgramsWhen spring comes around, our thoughts turn to ice cream! Join the LHS on Tuesday, May 14 for the community program "We All Scream for Ice Cream." A slide show will feature fond memories of some of the area's favorite ice cream shops. Then Ed Albaugh, who has had a 40-year career in food flavorings, will share his knowledge about how different ingredients change the taste and quality of ice cream. There will be samples served as well. Please note that SEATING WILL BE LIMITED due to serving limitations. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is free, as always, and donations are welcomed. |
