Oct. 2 First Friday: Oktoberfest Comes to FF

Cue the dancers and strike up the band — It's Oktober time in Lansdale! 

We're taken everything you love about our Oktoberfests — German band, traditional dancers, games and contests — and wrapped them in all your First Friday family favorites.

This Friday, Oct. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m., join us for a truly festive event. On the main stage you'll enjoy the Philadelphia German Brass Band; then, from 7 to 7:20 p.m. and again from 8 to 8:20 p.m., the United German Hungarian Dancers will perform; and at 7:30 you can prove your prowess in the Stein-Hoisting Competition. 

Food trucks include The Little Sicilian, The Pasta Truck, Meat Wagon, Miss Megan's Buns on the Run, Humpty's Dumplings, and sponsor El Limon. For dessert: Fiesta Churros, House of Cupcakes, and Yusuf Halal Food.

In the Beer Garden: Local Tap, Well Crafted, Von C Brewing, Boyd's Cardinal Hollow Winery, Boardroom Spirits, Simple Days Beer, Two Girls on Tap, and sponsor Stove and Tap. Non Alcoholic: The Coffee Stop.

DJ Tone Arm will be spinning at Railroad Plaza, and East West Karate Team will perform a demonstration at 6:30. Inflatables at the kids' Fun Zone, and balloons by Scott Myer.

Remember — parking along Madison Street and in the Madison lot is prohibited on First Fridays — and PARKING IN PRIVATE APARTMENT LOTS IS NEVER A GOOD IDEA!
