Downtown Survey

Lansdale Downtown Perception Survey
May 1-June 8, 2026 — Results

Lansdale gets high marks from area residents for the borough’s cleanliness and safety, ease of travel and walkability, and its packed schedule of annual events. The borough could do better, however, at making its downtown more attractive, improving its mix of businesses — and (was there ever a doubt?) parking.

These are the top-line results from the recent Lansdale Community Perception Survey, staged by Discover Lansdale in cooperation with the borough’s Economic Development Committee. The survey, which ran from May 1 through June 8, drew 750 honest and thoughtful — and sometimes surprising — responses from friends and neighbors in the 19446 ZIP code (83%) and elsewhere in Montgomery and Bucks.

The survey, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Downtown Center, is designed to help shape strategic planning, investment decisions, and collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening downtown Lansdale as a vibrant community hub.

Results in PowerPoint presentation slides are below; results in PDF form are available by clicking the button below, as is a look at the original survey in PDF form.
